Principles

Our 2121 National Biodiversity Vision is based on the principles that biodiversity recovery requires ecosystem management, increased ecosystem land cover and ecosystem connections.

 

Vision Development

The 2121 Vision development began with a deep dive into existing biodiversity visions of central and regional government, iwi, environmental organisations and sector representative bodies. To ensure a robust outcome, we applied new methods that are detailed in this open-source article:
